Classic Cars and Classic Bikes! Whatever your ride, we’d love to see it at the Marine City Arts and Music Festival’s Classic Car Show.
Show off your ride against a backdrop of the beautiful St. Clair River in downtown Marine City during the last day of this first-ever summer festival. Come early and enjoy the music or just come Sunday, July 12, 2009 for the car show. The festival runs from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday the 12th.
Entrants can display any classic car or motorcycle (model year 1984 or earlier). In fact you can enter as many vehicles as you like, up to ten vehicles per registrant!
This is an open show with trophies in many different categories including:
- Best of Show (car),
- Best of Show (motorcycle),
- Mayor’s Choice,
- specific categories such as Best Prewar Unrestored Ford.
Advance Registration (postmarked by June 20, 2009): $10/first car or bike, $4/each additional
Registration (after June 21 or day of the event): $15/first car or bike, $6/each additional
DAY OF SHOW INFORMATIONRegistration is Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the parking lot at Broadway and Water St., Marine City. If prepaid, just tell us you’re here and get your decals. If not, pay the entry fee then get your decals. You must remain until 5 p.m. to be eligible for any award.
SELLING OF CARSOur permit does not allow us to operate a used-car lot. If one or more of your cars is available for sale, you may put a sign in the car which says “for sale – contact owner after this show” with your phone number, e-mail etc., and you may also give out cards or other information, but no transactions may occur during the show.
